Maftuna was born in Tashkent, a city with a strong academic tradition and vibrant scientific community. She obtained her Master’s degree in Dentistry and is currently conducting research toward the PhD degree in the field of dental science. Her research focuses on advancing modern approaches in dentistry, contributing to the development of evidence-based clinical practice and improvement of patient care. At present, she serves as a faculty member at AFU, where she is actively involved in teaching undergraduate students in dentistry. Her academic responsibilities include delivering lectures, supervising practical training, and mentoring students in their professional development. In addition to her academic and research activities, she is a mother of two children, successfully balancing her professional career with family life.
